This map is a standardized choropleth map of potential years of life lost to prostate cancer in Southern Ontario, CA from 1997. The data has been areally averaged to get the number of years lost per 100,000 persons aged 0-74. According to the brief article, this student used Jenks Optimization to find a goodness of variance fit and to group the regional health units into classes.
